Description

On this private day tour, prepare to be awed by two of Scotland’s most breathtaking natural wonders – the dramatic Pass of Glen Coe and the enchantingly beautiful Loch Ness.

This journey showcases the best of Scotland’s scenery. Our first stop is the quaint hamlet of Kilmahog, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore a 250-year-old woolen mill and stretch your legs before we continue our journey. Next, we traverse the breathtaking Glen Coe, renowned for its spectacular views and historically significant past.

Lunch awaits us at Spean Bridge, affectionately known as “The Crossroads of The Highlands.” After refueling, a short drive takes us to the charming village of Fort Augustus, nestled on the banks of Loch Ness.

Here, enjoy a tranquil boat trip, sailing into the heart of Loch Ness. After soaking in the natural beauty of Scotland, we’ll make our way back to Edinburgh, stopping for a final comfort break.

Join us on this journey through some of Scotland’s most stunning landscapes.

Itinerary

Thrilled by our visit to these famous statues, we rejoin our coach for the journey into the picturesque Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

We’ll make a stop in the pretty village of Balmaha so you can enjoy the views of the “bonnie, bonnie banks” over to Ben Lomond. Here, you will have the opportunity to go on a woodland walk that will reward you with amazing views of the loch. Looking out over the loch, the vista is sure to provide you with a song in your heart!

Later we make our way to historic Stirling, where there is the opportunity to explore imposing Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most important buildings historically and architecturally. Many royals have been crowned at Stirling Castle, including Mary Queen of Scots, and it played a central role in William Wallace’s (Braveheart) fight in the Wars of Independence.

If you prefer, you can opt to discover Stirling Old Town, which grew up in the shadow of the castle, literally in the heart of Scotland!

After exploring the many attractions of Stirling, we board our coach for the return journey to Edinburgh.

Really nice view and service! The highland coos are sooooo cute!
